Who We Are
Roosevelt Row Community Development Corporation (CDC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established to further the unique cultural character and creative assets of the Roosevelt Row Artists’ District, to advocate for the continuing presence and role of the arts, particularly individual artists, and small businesses in downtown Phoenix, and to foster a dense, diverse, sustainable and walkable urban community.
The organization has been a fundamental advocate for the arts, community culture, and the artists who cultivate arts experiences for over a decade. With numerous arts venues, murals and public art, hundreds of local businesses who support the arts, and over 100,000 new visitors each year, the Roosevelt Row Artists’ District is a continuously evolving urban canvas that has become nationally recognized for arts, culture and small, locally-owned businesses. Roosevelt Row CDC works on behalf of the district to create opportunities for artists, current and prospective residents and visitors alike to enjoy and invest in the thriving arts culture emerging here in part by fostering artistic excellence and new audience development and new opportunities for arts engagement.
