Pie is love!


Come one, come all to the Pie Social!

Join friends and neighbors on Sunday, Nov. 19 at 2pm for an afternoon of pie eating, art and live music in downtown Phoenix at Margaret T. Hance Park.

Roosevelt Row CDC and Phoenix New Times present the 8th annual Pie Social, featuring dozens of pies baked by over 15 celebrity chefs and c9333631.0 (1)ommunity members (YOU!) alike.

Admission is FREE. Pie tasting tickets are either $15 for five tickets, or bake and bring 2 pies* to exchange for 5 tickets.

Live music from Hi-Dreams DJ Collective, Tobie Milford, and The Foster Family Band.

Also check out: Collaging with Cut Paste PHX, Four Chambers Press poets live writing free poems, family-friendly activities from Phoenix Center for the Arts; a raffle; artisan market; and more!

Over 15 celebrity chefs from around the Valley will dish it out in a heated competition judged by a panel of judges and event attendees.

And before the Pie Social, join our friends at the Roosevelt Home Tour for a look inside historic homes, to grab lunch and check out the craft fair. 10am – 3pm.

*Tips for community bakers: Savory pies, sweet pies and experimental pies are welcome! But bring pies that do NOT need refrigeration per county health code. That means no cream, ice cream, meat, custard, etc.
